The residential brokerage industry, both in the USA and in many contries across the world, has too many agents - see my post at http://stefanswanepoel.realblogging.com/default.asp?item=236041 - and as a result of low standards and barriers to entry we are struggling to improve the overall image of agents and the level of professionalism.
