How to use Reveal Real Estate              

1. Find international real estate listings, resort communities, gated developments and condominium projects

Use the quick search facility in the right side bar on the home page and many of the internal pages to type in the name of the real estate development you are looking for, or the area or country you are interested in.  If you’re looking for a more tailored search, you can navigate to our Find page and select attributes such as price, distance from airport, amenities, social and environmental policy or lifestyle choices.   The third option is to choose a map based search by navigating on our Central American google maps and zooming in on areas and regions for a closer look.

Once you've found a real estate development you are interested in, you’ll be  able to drill down to see median prices and sq/ft prices compared against the region, country and the revealrealestate average as a whole.   If you're a re-seller, owner or developer of a real estate development, condo project or master planned community in Central America, please click here for more information on our services and features.

2. Read and write reviews

We think reviews direct from other real estate investors in the region provide an important layer of 'objective' information to help decision making.  It’s all about transparency. You get the inside scoop and find out what other investors think.  We organize the review by property hotspot and you may find comments on the quality of amenities, price point comparisons, future projections or other personal insights.

If you have something to share, then this is place to share it.  Visitors to the site will read your reasons – your investment story - and you may just inspire someone to follow in your footsteps.  You have a chance to get creative and have some fun by adding photos to accompany your reviews.

The reviews are not a place to register complaints but a place for balanced opinions that will help other real estate investors make better real estate investing decisions.  All reviews are moderated.  For more information please read our review guidelines.

3. Research countries and international property hotspot areas

Our guides to countries and hotspot areas are written from a real estate perspective.  We didn't focus on information easily found elsewhere on the internet. Our goal is to equip you with local knowledge related to international real estate investing in Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Belize.

We provide a market overview, backed up by data and charts as well as information on the legal framework for international property ownership.  As we're strong supporters of social responsibility, eco tourism and green investing we’ve charted key trends and best practice initiatives in this area.  We’ve compiled top insider tips to property investing and you’ll also find a section on “living here” to help you if you are considering a lifestyle buy.

As always, you’ll find price charts for each country and hotspot to help you with your analysis.  You can use the data in the charts for 'comparison shopping' between the different countries and hotspots to help you work out what costs what, where.

Going forward

As we develop the site, we’ll be adding more countries and more data. If you would like to keep up to date with the information on Reveal Real Estate, there are a number of different ways you can do this.
