Sanctuary Bay borders the Sapodilla Lagoon and the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary. The master plan offers 135 individual lots with walking access to the Caribbean sea.

At 14,000 acres, this could easily become the largest resort community in Belize. (Note that only 3,000 acres are planned for development, with the remainder held aside as a preserve)

The project intends to be a destination in itself with a whole range of planned amenities including marina, equestrian facilities, airstrip, mall, restaurants, health clinic, gym and spa facilities and so on.

Although there have been some delays in the roll-out of the master-plan, the project continues to move forward.
